I literally just did this mod tonight. From what I saw on the internet, just go with a major name that you like and you will be fine. I did the transmission bracket bushings while I was in there along with my shifter end bushings just to get it all done at once. I was a little nervous doing the bracket bushings for some reason but it’s really easy and I didn’t even remove the battery and box, which would have made life easier, but I got it done just fine without removing it, just the air box and tube.

Went with Steeda transmission bracket bushings because I trust Steeda and I was ordering stuff from CJ Pony Parts already so I threw them in the cart too.
Went with Ronin Factory solid shift cable bushings which were $54.00 from Amazon.

So far, I am very pleased. I already had the COBB 40% reduction plate on and it made things ‘better’ but now with the bracket and cable bushings the shifts feel much more mechanical, sort of metal on metal feeling and the shifts are much more precise feeling.

Even if you don’t do the bracket bushings, you will still be pleased with just the end link bushings but it only took maybe an extra half hour to do the bracket bushings and you will already be in there. just sayin’
